Hicham was the perfect guide, he was funny, sympathetic and an expert in Moroccan history. The whole day was perfectly planned and it was just the greatest experience! There were even snacks and water on board the tour bus, which was air-conditioned and very comfortable. The driver was also amazing! Sandboarding in Agadir is highly recommended.

I was initially a little hesitant to sign up, given the lack of Ecolodge Adventures reviews, but I’m so glad I did- this was truly the best trip ever! Karim was a phenomenal guide who soon became a friend- he’s someone who I definitely plan to hit up next time I’m in Agadir. Ahmed was a fun and hilarious driver who made our trip infinitely more entertaining. There were 5 of us total on the trip- we left from Cairo at 11 am and got back at around 8 pm. Thanks to Karim’s DJing, the drive to and back from Taghazout didn’t feel that long, as we were belting out karaoke most of the time. Moreover, we went offroading (Ahmed is a crazy driver!) and even helped pull out another car that was stuck in the sand. On the way to the sandboarding dunes, we visited a waterfall and stopped to take some stunning pictures from atop a cliff. Sandboarding itself was a blast, although I’d recommend wearing long socks to prevent the sand from burning your ankles as you climb up. If you bring a swimsuit, you can also jump into the magic lake right next to the dunes. After sandboarding, we enjoyed a delicious BBQ lunch/dinner in a bedouin hut, followed by bedouin tea and roasting marshmallows around a fire. Finally, we ended the day by visiting Aourir Village and watching a potter create a teapot in his workshop. An incredible experience that far exceeded expectations. I couldn’t recommend Ecolodge Adventures more strongly!

My friends and I had such an amazing time. Ahmed and Zak were awesome guides; it felt like we were hanging out with our friends. On the way to the magic lake, we stopped by and saw some waterfalls and got a little tour on a rowboat. Refat did a great job driving through the dunes, and once we reached the magic lake we all had a blast sandboarding. After that, we stopped by a great restaurant. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Agadir.
