Reception at the airport of Ouarzazate and spending overnight at a hotel.
Heading in the direction of Zagora by taxi then arriving at our departure place. After that we meet the horses that are already saddled, and here we will start following the famed Draa Valley. After passing through palm groves and traditional Berber villages we spend the night at the bivouac.
On day three we reach the Draa gorges surrounded by stunning scenery and interesting rock formations. We will have our picnic amongst the palm groves and descend to Tagounit where we will camp the night .
During the morning we will cross the Col of Foum Alhisn, to reach the vast sand dunes that surround the village of M’hamid – is located at the end of the region of Zagora. We spend the night in a traditional nomad camp. A bathroom is available there.
In the morning, we will pass through sand dunes and enjoy a picnic lunch in the desert. During the afternoon we cross the plateaus of the Sahara before reaching the middle of the desert where we set up camp.
Sometimes we follow the path of sand (erg) sometimes of stones (reg) , of the desert that surrounds us. The landscape is full of cassias trees and we will have our picnic in a shady valley. In the afternoon we cross the col (about 1400 m altitude) then we camp beside the nomad tents.
In the morning we’ll take one last trot and gallop and we are finally back to the palm groves of the Draa Valley. It’s the end of the trip. After saying goodbye to the guides and horses, you take a taxi to Ouarzazate and return back to the hotel.
On the Last day you will transferred by the taxi to the airport of Ouarzazate to continue your journey or to return back .
